Charles D "Chuck" Meldrum

Charles “Chuck” Meldrum (Pops to his family), 81, of Port Huron, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, December 30, 2021.

He was born on January 1, 1940 in Marine City.

He married the love of his life, Sue Ellen Fleming, on July 1, 1967. She preceded him in death on October 9, 2013 after 46 years of marriage. They were soulmates and are surely dancing together now.

Chuck had a cunning personality. He was always laughing and smiling. He loved playing the guitar. He enjoyed fishing, Westerns and watching his sons work on cars. He and Sue would often take their children camping in their younger years. It was something that they all loved to do together and his children still enjoy it today.

He is survived by his children, Robyne Meldrum, Clinton Meldrum and Craig Meldrum; and four grandchildren Tiffannie, Kristafer, Kaitlyn and Corey.

Private family services have been held in Caswell Cemetery.
