David L Hickman

David Leslie Hickman, 72, of Goodells, died January 12, 2022.

He was born November 11, 1949 in Ferndale to the late George and Mildred Hickman. He married Shirley A. Kasten on November 13, 1969 in Roseville.

David served in the U.S. Air Force. He was employed as an industrial electrician for many years. He enjoyed building with wood, was a skilled carpenter and could fix anything. He built his own home and furniture. He loved astronomy, campfires, working in his yard and taught himself to play violin.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley; siblings, George (Linda) Hickman, Peggy (Danny) Decker, Ellen Culver (Mike Binkowski) and Kim (Greg) Brengman; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and his canine companions, Penny Ann and Henley.

Private family services will take place at a future date.
