Cindy J McKelvey Kars

Cindy Jane McKelvey Kars, 72, of Port Huron, died Thursday, January 20, 2022.

She was born February 15, 1949 in Port Huron to the late Douglas and Garldeen McKelvey.

Cindy was a Child Care Teacher for many years. Her passion in life was taking care of children. She was a member of New Covenant Church of God where she was involved in many activities.

She is survived by three children, Chad Kars, Derek (Karen) Kars and Davon (Frances) Kars; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sister, Linda (Ray) Jawor; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Bradley Kars; and brother, Gordon McKelvey.

A memorial service will be held in the spring.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery on the family plot.
