Eugene Franklin Wrubel, 87, of Kimball Township, died Thursday, January 20, 2022.
He was born August 8, 1934 in Paris Township to the late Leo and Pearl Wrubel. He married Virginia Urban in 1955. She preceded him in death in 1991.
Eugene was a press operator at St. Clair Rubber for many years before his retirement in 1980. He enjoyed collecting toy trains, woodworking and Polka music.
He is survived by three sons, Michael (Becky) Wrubel, Kevin (Phyllis) Wrubel and Eugene (Lori) Wrubel; three grandchildren, Victoria Wrubel, Amanda (Jacob) Gregg and Tiffany (Sean) Anderson; four great grandsons; several step great grandsons; siblings, Joanne Lewandowski, Rita Wrubel and Joe (Marlene) Wrubel; many nieces and nephews; and friends, Glen and Karen Reiss. He was preceded in death by his companion, Alice Kleczkowski; and brother, Leo Wrubel Jr.
Visitation will be held from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, January 30, 2022 in the Marysville Funeral Home followed by a scripture service at 4:00 p.m.
Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery.
