Polly Patricia “Pat” Hude, 88, of Fort Gratiot, died Wednesday, March 30, 2022.
She was born October 28, 1933 in Detroit to the late Douglas and Alice DeWolfe. She married Robert Hude on November 10, 1951 in Utica. He preceded her in death on March 11, 2000 after 48 years of marriage.
Pat was a former member of East Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Detroit and Our Savior Lutheran Church in Gladwin. She loved collecting antiques.
She is survived by her children, Victoria (Paul ) Morse, Janet (James) Maynard, Alice Hude and James Hude; brother, Douglas (Nancy) DeWolfe; grandchildren, Johann (Lindsey) Morse, Rocky (Kristin) Maynard, Calla (Michael) Adamo, Harmony Morrissey, Jenna Hude and Joshua Hude; eight great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Kimberly Hude; and five loving sisters.
Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 2022 in the Marysville Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2022 in the Marysville Funeral Home. Pastor David DuBois of Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Clair will officiate.
Burial will be in White Chapel Cemetery, Troy.
