Dorothy M Rowe

Dorothy May Rowe, 98, of Port Huron, died Tuesday, April 5, 2022.

She was born June 14, 1923 in Kinde, Michigan to the late John and Aleta Stoner.

Dorothy attended school in Port Huron, Kinde and Carsonville. She married James Dugger in Niagara Falls, New York in 1942. They lived in Oregon and California until August 1948 when he died as a result of an automobile accident. She moved back to Port Huron where she married Roy Rowe on January 28, 1961. In retirement, they resided in Pinellas Park, Florida. Mr. Rowe died July 5, 1994 and Dorothy returned to Port Huron.

She is survived by her brother, Keith (Joyce) Stoner of Fort Gratiot; several nieces and nephews, Vicki, Diane, Steve (Jennifer) and David Stoner and Albert, Daniel and Marcia Rowe; great niece and nephews, Abigail, Carter and Jacob Stoner. She was preceded in death by her sister, Annabelle Mandeville, sister-in-law, Leona Rowe, niece, Cindy Mandeville and nephew, David Rowe.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Monday April 11, 2022 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Dr. Tim North of Griswold Street Baptist Church will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.

The family would like to thank Ability Plus, Blue Water Hospice, Port Haven Manor, and friend, Bonnie Basner for the excellent care they provided to Dorothy.
