Thelma M Solomon

Thelma Mae Solomon, 97, of Marysville, died Friday, July 22, 2022.

She was born December 5, 1924 in Yale to the late Howard and Mildred Spencer. She married Russell “Yogi” Solomon on October 31, 1948 in Port Huron. He preceded her in death on September 26, 1996 after 47 years of marriage.

Thelma enjoyed gardening and animals, especially her cats.

She is survived by two daughters, Terry (Kenneth) Robinson and Kay (Rick) Rock; daughter-in-law, Cathy Solomon; five grandchildren, Tracy Tenbrink (Gary Zauner), Sue Tenbrink (Jim Lynch), Daniel (Christa) Solomon, Christopher (Sara) Solomon and Jessica Rock (Jason Schott); five great grandchildren, Jessi, Darren, Mason, Raeanna and Josh; sister, Brenda Craig; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Solomon; and two sisters, Elaine Rusch and Betty Warner.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 1, 2022 at Riverlawn Cemetery Columbarium, Marysville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Water Area Humane Society.
