Carole Lynne Goodman, 62, of Wales Township, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, July 31, 2022.
She was born December 10, 1959 in Port Huron to the late Leonard and Betty Preston. She married Jeffery Goodman on July 3, 1982 in Port Huron.
Carole was a 1978 graduate of Port Huron High School. She worked for Benson Moretz Cleaning Company for many years. She enjoyed gardening, working in the yard, listening to music, sewing and going to church where she was active with the children’s ministries.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Jeff; daughter, Cassandra “Cassie” (Jared) Smith; two granddaughters, Emma and Allie Smith; four siblings, Gary (Carolyn) Preston, Debra (Harold) Armstead, David (Sandra) Preston and Kathy (Boyd) Morrison; several nieces and nephews; and many wonderful neighbors. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl and Daniel Preston.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Monday, August 8, 2022 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.. Pastor Ron Graham will officiate.
Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery, Greenwood Township. Pallbearers will be David Preston, Gerald Ramsey, Don Ramsey, Ted Forstner and Scott Ramsey.
