Collin Robert Tallant, 13, of Port Huron Township, died Monday, August 1, 2022.
He was born November 6, 2008 in Port Huron to Brett and Renae Tallant.
Collin was a talented and one-of-a-kind kid. He loved his first year of robotics with the Jr. Vi-Bots, enjoyed playing the trombone in the band, liked tinkering on projects and boating with his dad, playing video games, cooking, cutting the grass, riding his bike, and camping with his family. When he was younger, Collin was the little boy with the big imagination who was fascinated with trains and learning about the Titanic, and loved playing Nerf and being on his swing. He was a great hugger who enjoyed joking and making people laugh. Collin loved being with his “buddies”, always had a pocketful of snacks, and liked being wrapped up in a soft blanket with his infamous comfy pants and mismatched top.
He is survived by his parents, Brett and Renae; brothers, Evan and Nathan Tallant; grandparents, Beverly Hering and William and Patrice Tallant; aunt, Amber (Dan) Gerstenberger; uncle, Bryan Hering (Omie Stodulski); cousins, Caleb and Liam Gerstenberger, Baylee Hering, Keaton and Bella Bailey; and many other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Don Michael Hering.
Visitation will be from 2-5 and 6-9 p.m. Friday in the Marysville Funeral Home.
