Chester G Cox

Chester Glen Cox, 80 of Marysville, went home to be with the Lord Friday, September 2, 2022 surrounded by his family. He was born October 27, 1941 in Weiner, Arkansas to the late William (Chester) and Ethel Cox. He married Ruth Virginia Rogers on September 4, 1965 in Westland, Michigan. His spouse Ruth preceded him in death on September 1, 2019.

Chet was a loving father and devoted spouse. He served in the military for 35 years and continued on with a second career as a tool and die maker.

He was an avid hunter, fisherman, motorcyclist and loved working with wood. He also enjoyed renovating several homes over the years. He took great joy in his many motorcycle adventures with his breakfast buddies.

He is survived by his children Brian Cox, Shelly (Darrell) Rebman, and Douglas (Robbie) Cox; 4 grandchildren, Kirstin, Caleb, Carley, and Carter Cox; brothers, Charles, Marvin, Arness, Billy and Dennis; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Neva Jean Cox and a brother, Robert Truitt.

Private family services will be held.
