Betty Jean Walton, 87, of Port Huron, died Thursday, January 12, 2012.
She was born December 20, 1924 in Port Huron to the late Daniel and Clara Meyer. She married William Davidson on January 5, 1946 in Port Huron. He died in 1955. She married Thomas Walton on August 4, 1962 in Port Huron.
Mrs. Walton was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed bowling with the Senior Citizen’s League, playing cards and visiting friends. She was a lifetime Detroit Tigers fan.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas; a daughter, Kathleen (William) Sweet of Marine City; a son, Richard (Gloria) Davidson of China Township; grandchildren, Patrick Sweet, Brian Sweet, Travis Davidson, Michael Davidson, Tad Davidson, Kyle Davidson, Katelind Davidson; and a great granddaughter, Kennedy. She was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Davidson; a grandson, Kerre Sweet; and a brother and sister-in-law, William and Jean Meyer.
Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 16, 2012 in Trinity Lutheran Church with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. The Reverend John Carrier will officiate.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
