Junior R Frizzle
Junior “Ray” Frizzle, 83, of Marysville, died Friday, January 13, 2012.
He was born June 30, 1928 in Port Huron and was a lifelong area resident. He married Noreen Anderson on June 24, 1950 in Port Huron.
Mr. Frizzle was a carman with Grand Trunk Western Railroad. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army from 1946 to 1949 and in the U.S. Air Force in Korea from 1951 to 1954. He was a member of American Legion Marysville Post #449. He enjoyed woodworking, working in his yard and garden, and spending time up north.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Noreen; four children, Rayleen Postill, Richard (Jackie) Frizzle, Cindy (Rev. James) Dominick and Penny (Denny) Evans; nine grandchildren, Jason (Renee) Postill, Todd (Shannon) Postill, Tonia Hisscock, Lori Kerswell, Rick Frizzle, Carrie (Drew) Kerswell, Rachael Dominick, Melissa (Ken) Rock and D.J. (Jessica) Evans; 21 great grandchildren; siblings, Donald (Marilyn) Frizzle, Edith (Bob) Partlo, Phyllis (Joe) Hunter, Bud Denman, Clifford (Marilyn) Frizzle and Max (Phoebe) Frizzle; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and eight brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Sunday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 16, 2012 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Reverend James Turner of Marysville Assembly of God will officiate. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Council.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Legion Marysville Post #449.
