Phyllis Madelene Bartley, 93, of Port Huron, went home to be with the Lord Monday, December 5, 2022.
She was born July 25, 1929 in Port Huron to the late Jerry and Lillian Gardner.
Phyllis was a longtime member of Port Huron Assembly of God Church where she enjoyed singing and preparing meals.
She is survived by three daughters, Lillian (Larry) Pung, Susan Blackmer and Glenda (Willie) Brown; five sons, Frank (Denise) Schott, Michael Schott, Richard Schott, Patrick Schott and Christopher (Barb) Schott; 23 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren; stepson, Joseph (Carolyn) Bartley; brother Robert Gardner; two sisters, Carol Rock and Joetta Duke; and many nieces and nephews including special niece, Loretta Gardner. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Frank Schott and Raymond Bartley; grandsons, Matthew Blackmer and Phillip Brown; son-in-law, Michael Blackmer; daughter-in-law, Cindy Schott; sisters, Pat, Violet, Pearl, Yvonne, May and Lorraine; and brothers, Richard, Lawrence, Thomas, Don, Ralph, Roy, Jerry and Doug.
Visitation will be from 1-4 and 5-8 p.m. Thursday, December 8, 2022 in the Marysville Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 9, 2022 in the Marysville Funeral Home. The Reverend Joe Sazyc will officiate.
Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael and Steven Blackmer and Kevin, Travis, Bradley and Allen Schott.
