Vickie A Hayes

Vickie Ann Hayes, 73, of Port Huron, died Wednesday, January 18, 2023.

She was born March 26, 1949 in Port Huron to the late Lewis and Nancy Burns. She married Glenn L. Hayes on August 24, 1968 in Port Huron. He died November 25, 2022.

Vickie was a kitchen manager with the Port Huron Area School District for 30 years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed reading, her dogs, Bo and Bear, traveling to the cabin at Fife Lake, and going on fun adventures with her sister, Sandra. During the Christmas season she baked an assortment of cookies and chocolate pie for her children and grandchildren, who she loved dearly. She was devoted to her church and church family at Gratiot Park United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son, Brian (Angie) Hayes; daughter, Tina (Rob) Warner; grandchildren, Cory Hayes (Samantha Woods), Joshua Howcroft (Amber Hisscock), Karley Howcroft (Janyah Moncrief), Cody Brain, Karlie Brain (Josh Strauchman), Alec Warner (Rebecka Marotta, Codie Warner (Jon Pary) and Taylor Warner; five great grandchildren; sister, Sandra Langolf; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Mike and Monna Selepack and Betty Sweet. She was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law, Michael Langolf and William Hayes; and sister-in-law, Linda Snyder.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Eric Miller will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.
