Eleanor J Sesta

Eleanor Jane Sesta, 97, of Fort Gratiot, died Tuesday, April 25, 2023.

She was born November 14, 1925 in Bruce Township to the late Edith and Ervin Ernst Sr. She married Paul John Sesta on February 11, 1955 in Detroit. He died on April 14, 2019 after 64 years of marriage.

Eleanor was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Eleanor and Paul enjoyed traveling in their RV and spending time with their family.

She is survived by five children, Michelle (Steve) Norton, Suzanne (Gary) Balakier, Paulette (Steven) Bagnall, Lisa (Eric) Beaulieu and Noelle (Todd) Myler; son-in-law, Tom Clark; ten grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Camille Clark.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2023 in St. Mary Catholic Church, Port Huron with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. The Reverend Zbigniew Zomerfeld will officiate.

Inurnment will be in the Allied Veteran’s Cemetery Columbarium.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church.
