Curtis D Jackson, Sr.

Curtis Darnell Jackson Sr., 66, of Port Huron, died Wednesday, May 31, 2023.

He was born May 15, 1957 in Port Huron.

Curtis served in the U.S. National Guard. He was employed at the railroad for several years. He enjoyed reading, playing music, fishing, watching movies and spending time with friends.

He is survived by three children, Haran Stanley, Kameel Stanley and Darius Jackson; granddaughters, Makayla Stanley and Cadence Jackson; father, James Curtis (Elaine) Jackson; siblings, Tonya Pettitt, James Pettitt, Kim Boyd, LaTyrrell Pettitt and Donna (Michael) Crosby; special uncle, Eugene Lincoln; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ada Jackson in 2020; mother, Dorothy Handy; and son, Curtis Jackson Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2023 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 12 noon. The Reverend Anthony Lindsay will officiate.

Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Port Huron Township. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army.
