John Stewart Brown, 81, of Lakeport, died Friday, August 25, 2023.
He was born May 17, 1942 in Port Huron to the late John D. and Hazel Brown. He married Shirley Featherby in 1965 in Wichita, Kansas. She preceded him in death on February 7, 2005.
John served in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam. He worked as an electrician with Mueller Brass for many years. John enjoyed golfing, playing softball, riding his motorcycle and working on his hot rod and Corvette.
He is survived by four children, Jackie Longlanais, Ronald (Debbie) Fuller, Rickey (Dee) Fuller and David (Nancy) Brown; and four grandchildren, Matthew, Brandi, Caleb and Meghan. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon Fuller; son, John David Brown; and twin brother, George Brown.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, September 1, 2023 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 2, 2023 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Burtchville Township Cemetery. Military Honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Air Force and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
