Paul R Schmidt

Paul Richard Schmidt, 62, of Clyde Township, died unexpectedly on Saturday, September 2, 2023.

He was born July 15, 1961 in Port Huron to the late Alexander and Mildred Schmidt.

Paul was a software engineer for IDC Industries for many years. He enjoyed golfing, skiing, biking, traveling, kayaking and spending time with his family and friends. He was a food connoisseur and a proud grandpa to Georgia Kay.

He is survived by his children, Alex Schmidt, Anna (Joseph) Turnbull and Addisen Schmidt; their mother, Michelle Schmidt; granddaughter, Georgia Turnbull; siblings, John (Barbara) Schmidt, William (Susan) Schmidt, Dianne (Richard) Williams and Ellen Harris; sister-in-law, Mary Lee Schmidt; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, James Schmidt; brother-in-law, Robert Harris; and step-mother, Anna Jean Schmidt.

A memorial visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, October 27, 2023 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
