Ronald W Miller

Ronald Wayne Miller Jr, 68, of Wixom, Michigan went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 20, 2023 after a short battle with cancer.

He was born June 7, 1954 in Port Huron, Michigan to L. Joan and the late Ronald Wayne Miller, Sr. He married Kathleen (Engel) Beagan on July 23, 1994 in Wixom, Michigan. Kathleen passed away on March 27, 2023 after her very short battle with cancer.

Ron graduated from Port Huron Northern High School in 1972. His Christian faith was very important to him and he attended the Grand Rapids School of the Bible and Music following graduation.

Ron retired after a long career with AT&T and IBM in 2013. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hockey, baseball, spending time at his cabin up north, as well as spending time each spring in Clearwater Florida watching his grandson play baseball for the Phillies. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and family. Ron loved music and singing. He travelled to Russia singing with a group from Ward Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his mother, L. Joan Miller; children, Ronald (Erin) Miller III, Andy (Beth) Miller, Jody Morris and Justin (Jenn) Beagan; eleven grandchildren, Ethan Lindow, Jared Lindow, Kylie Morris, Mason Morris, Ronnie Miller, Andrew Miller, Bella Miller, Grayson Beagan, Landon Beagan, Austin Miller and Brianna Miller; two brothers, Jim (Roseann) Miller and John (Margaret) Miller; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

A memorial service was held in July in Wixom. Ronald and Kathleen will be buried in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.
