Thelma Lee

Thelma Ruth Lee, 70, of Kimball, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 21, 2012. She was born September 14, 1941 in Luverne, Alabama to the late Arthur and Bertha Henderson. Mrs. Lee was a member of Zion Cathedral of Praise and served on the Mother’s Board. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, church activities and taking care of others. She is survived by her husband, Frederick Lee; three children, Sondradeneen Beam, Ernest (Robin) Lee and Angelita Lee; six grandchildren, Arlita Lee, Candis (Aaron) Higdon, Ernest Lee Jr., DeShawn Lee, Anthony Lee and LaMarcus Lee; three great grandchildren, Kamron Higdon, Keyami Lee and Kaylee Higdon; and brothers and sisters, Gracie (Frank) Edwards, Comer (Callie) Henderson, Arthur Henderson, James (Rita) Henderson, Sylvester (Brenda) Henderson, Janie Williams, Katie Brooks and Paralee Ellis. She was preceded in death by two great grandchildren, Alana Lee and LaVale Harvey Jr. on Jan. 12, 2012; and two brothers, John and Donald Henderson. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2012 in Zion Cathedral of Praise. Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery.
