Robert H "Bob" Sheffer

Robert H. “Bob” Sheffer, 68, of Port Huron, died Wednesday December 13, 2023 after battling esophageal cancer.

He was born January 22, 1955 in Port Huron to the late Howard and Agnes Sheffer.

Bob served his country in the Army National Guard. He worked for Mueller Brass in many roles until his retirement. He enjoyed riding his tractor around the neighborhood and having a good time with his friends.

Bob is survived by his wife, Shelby; children, Corey, Alex, Patti, Maria, and Mikey; many grandchildren including the light of Bob’s life, Haven, who he lovingly referred to as “Boo Boo”; siblings, Linda (Rod) Borowski, Sue (Jed) Johnston, William (Sandy) Sheffer, John (Sharon) Sheffer, Mary (Joe) Linkiewicz, and Thomas (Melanie) Sheffer; best friend, B.J; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two children, Casi Lyn Sheffer and Danny Dean.

Graveside committal services will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army.
