Walter E "Bugs" Smith Jr.

Walter Ellsworth “Bugs” Smith Jr., 76, of Port Huron, died Wednesday, April 24, 2024.

He was born August 24, 1947 in Fennville, Michigan to the late Helen and Walter Smith Sr. He married Mary (Prain) Walker on September 1, 1990 in Sparta, Michigan.

Walter was employed in the construction industry for many years. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Mary; children, Wesley, Eric and Natasha Smith; step-daughter, Cindy Walker; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and siblings, Gail Christie, Cindy Esquivel, Edward Smith and Sylvia Kenner. He was preceded in death by his son, Walter Smith III.
