Roxanna Partain Stevens

May 4th, 1954 to June 17th, 2024

Roxanna Rose Stevens, 70, of Marysville died Monday, June 17, 2024 unexpectedly at her home.

She was born May 4, 1954 in Port Huron to the late Rose M. and Ervin C. Partain Jr. Roxanna graduated from Marysville High School in 1972 and went to work for IAC in Marysville shortly after. Following a dedicated 50-year career, she finally retired in 2023.

Roxanna loved to shop and give gifts, and could find anything, even the most obscure item that you never knew you needed. She was a talented decorator and enjoyed planning parties…as soon as one event ended, she began preparation for the next. She especially loved the Christmas holidays and all of the festivities that time of year. She was involved in the Port Huron Figure Skating Club and youth baseball when her children were young, and more recently enjoyed watching her son coach softball and her grandchildren begin to enjoy activities. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her world and she would do anything for them.

Roxanna is survived by a son, Jordan Stevens; a daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Charlie Penrod; two grandchildren, Quinn and Wesley Penrod; brother, Erv (Penny) Partain; sister, Pam (Hank) Augustyn; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2024 in the Marysville Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Celebrant Laurie Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville.

Memorials to the Salvation Army would be appreciated to be used towards their work providing Christmas joy for children in need.
