Virginia L "Ginny" Grant

Virginia Lee “Ginny” Grant, 78, of Kimball Township, died Tuesday, July 16, 2024.

She was born February 28, 1946 in Port Huron to the late Joseph L. and Clara K. Hock.

Virginia was employed at several local businesses including the ARC and the Edison Depot. She was an amazing mother and was known as the “cool mom” by the neighborhood children. She also was a loving caregiver to her own mom. She loved going on adventures, singing and dancing. An avid gamer, she was a wicked solitaire player and enjoyed euchre and slot machines.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (T.J.) Sullivan; son, Jim Grant; granddaughter, Zoe Genette; granddogs, Buster and Bonanza “Bo”; niece, Loretta (Louis) Harden and family; nephew, George (Vanessa) Adams and family; and many other close family and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Katherine Adams.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Deacon Dennis Crimmins will officiate.

Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery.
