Shawn McIvor

Shawn Daniel McIvor, 39, of Port Huron, died unexpectedly on Friday, July 26, 2024 from an undiagnosed heart condition.

He was born April 21, 1985 in Port Huron.

Shawn was a dedicated store manager with Blufox Mobile in Fort Gratiot. He was a talented graphic artist and web designer as well as a passionate entrepreneur and experienced computer technician. As a musician with his band, The Understandings, he touched the lives of many with his music. Shawn enjoyed skateboarding, baseball, kayaking and going to the beach. He was an amazing husband, father, son, relative and friend.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Nikki McIvor; two children, Alec and Xander McIvor; mother, Tammy McIvor; sister, Shayna McIvor; aunt, Joddy (Roy) Swoffer; cousins, Alicia, Jessica and Travis; mother-in-law, Helen Stokes; brother-in-law, Ryan Stokes; and nephew, Isaac Stokes.
