Richard J O'Neil

Richard John O’Neil, 71, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 in his hometown of Port Huron, Michigan.

Born February 27, 1953 to Bettye and Robert “Lefty” O’Neil, Rick brought joy and laughter to all who knew him.

A man of simple pleasures, Rick found immense happiness in the company of his loyal dog, Trixie. He had a knack for finding hidden treasures at local thrift stores and enjoyed playing table tennis. Known for his quick wit and “dad jokes,” Rick had a unique ability to brighten any room.

Rick is survived by his son, Timothy; daughter-in-law, Jessica; and cherished granddaughter, Abigail. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Private family services to celebrate Rick’s life will be held at later date.

Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery alongside his parents.
