LaTryce D Johnson
Latryce D. Johnson, 56, of Shelby Township passed Sunday, September 22, 2024.
She was born December 9, 1967 in Sarnia, Ontario to the late Arthur, Jr. and Barbara McMillan. She married her best friend, Vernon Johnson III on November 29, 1992 in Interfaith Community Church in Port Huron.
LaTryce worked in customer service for DTE where her love for others was able to shine through on a daily basis. She enjoyed traveling, fashion, and had a newfound love of golf. She was the life of the party, and she held her family close to her heart always running her children, nieces, and nephews wherever they needed to be. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, friend, and beloved auntie Tryce to all.
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband of almost 32 years, Vernon; two children, Chenise N. Johnson and Vaune M. Johnson (Stefanie Jefferson); one grandchild on the way; brothers, Ryan (Dominique) Brown and Arthur (Rachelle) McMillan III; mother-in-law, Lillian Harvey; brothers-in-law, Jeffrey (Rosaria) Johnson and Marcus (Cherese) Sailor; sisters-in-law, Melissa (Carlos) Ellis, Amber Marshall, and; nieces and nephews, Brandon, Rieonna, Dominic, Casim, Imani, Amare, Julian, Jayce, DeAngelo, Nicholas, Jayden, Adriana, Sebastian, Kayden, Rylee, Adrien, Isaac, Azaiah, Reyelle, Serenity, Ryane, Aryana, A’Mylei, Miranda, Lil Marcus and Christian; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her beloved pet Solow Johnson.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Patrice Phillips and aunts and uncles; Edward McMillan, Audrey and Richard Pack, Charlotte Tillery, Dorothy Santos, Edward Wood, Albert Wood, and Joe Miller.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, September 30, 2024 in Restoration Christian Community Church with visiting beginning at 11:00 a.m. Dr. Carl E. Miller will officiate.
Inurnment will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.
