Monte C Babbitt

Monte Clay Babbitt, 71, of Port Huron, died Tuesday, November 12, 2024. He was born September 28, 1953 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to the late Raymond and Joanne Babbitt. Mr. Babbitt served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He began learning martial arts in California and continued his training in Port Huron, receiving his 4th Degree Black Belt from the World Hapkido Federation. He was a metal worker for many years and was a skilled handyman and personal engineer. Monte was a believer in the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and an all-around great guy. He is survived by his longtime companion, Jeannine Capadagli and her family; and two children, Cole and Lindsay. Services will be held at a later date.
