Ann A Payne Kreeger

Ann A. Payne Kreeger, 77, of Palms, Michigan, died Monday, June 2, 2025.

She was born August 18, 1947 in Owosso to the late Frederick and Doris Payne. She married William R. “Bill” Kreeger on June 23, 1984 in Traverse City. He preceded her in death in September of 2019 after 35 years of marriage.

Ann graduated from Flushing High School in 1965 where she enjoyed being a cheerleader for four years and participating in choir and glee club. After high school she attended Michigan State University for one year, attended Flint Junior College, Central Michigan University and graduated from Oakland University in 1978.

She was employed with General Motors for 28 years, retiring in 1999. During this time, she enjoyed golfing and trips up north to see her parents in Grawn, Michigan on Duck Lake.

Ann and Bill spent their time antiquing and taking trips to Duck Lake in the summer. They also spent time wintering at their condo in Florida, visiting Bill’s son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Randi and grandchildren, Morgan and Max around Christmas.

After retirement, Bill and Ann moved to their formerl weekend/vacation home in Palms, Michigan, where they enjoyed the beautiful sunrise view on Lake Huron. They spent their time gardening, collecting John Deere memorabilia and taking several trips to Duck Lake.

She is survived by her step-son, Robert (Randi) Kreeger; and grandchildren, Morgan and Max Kreeger.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 9, 2025 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Dr. Joseph Baunoch will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.
