Bruce B Barrons
Bruce Burton Barrons, 84, of Sarnia, died Monday, April 30, 2012 surrounded by his family.
He was born August 14, 1927 in Windsor to the late Kirby and Hazel Barrons.
Bruce was a prominent realtor and businessman in Sarnia. He was a founding partner of Guilfoyle/Barrons Real Estate, now Re/Max Realty. He was an avid golfer and a long time member of the Sarnia Golf & Curling Club. Bruce was a loving and devoted husband and father who was loved by all who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Sylvia; two sons, Dan (Louise) Barrons and Paul Barrons; six stepchildren, Debbie (Russ) Black, Rob (LeeAnn) McKelvey, Belinda (Greg) McGregor, Kathleen (Larry) Tenbusch, Sharon (Darryl) LaForest and Grant (Julie) McKelvey; 20 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; a sister, Mary Bordato; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Glen Barrons.
Graveside Committal services will be held at 10:45 a.m. Friday May 4, 2012 in Lakeside Cemetery followed by a memorial service at noon in North Lakeport Wesleyan Church. The Reverend Drew Mills will officiate.
A reception to celebrate Bruce's life will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2012 from 1-4 p.m. in the Wagg's Banquet Room on Christina Street in Sarnia.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or North Lakeport Wesleyan Church. Arrangements are by Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
