Patrick Walsh

Patrick Walter Walsh, 73 of Fort Gratiot, died Sunday, July 6, 2025.

He was born October 17, 1951 in St. Clair Shores to the late Dolores and Stephen Walsh Jr. He married Janet Bojnowski on March 1, 1996 in Warren. She preceded him in death on May 2, 2019.

Patrick honorably served in the U.S. Navy from 1969 to 1971. He was employed as a fabricator in the automotive industry for many years prior to his retirement but his true passion was roofing and siding. He loved U of M football and all Detroit sports. Patrick was extremely proud of his Irish heritage and enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa (Steve) Reynolds; son, Ryan (Diana) Walsh; grandchildren, Evan, Ariah, Sofia, Isla, Calem and Conner; step-daughter, Jessica (Bruce) Charneco; step-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Mitchell, Brooke and Jordan; sister, Nancy Johnson; and brothers, Stephen Walsh and Mike (Erica) Walsh. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Judith Thomas and Kevin Walsh.

Private family inurnment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Port Huron. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Navy and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
