Bambi L Strauss
Bambi Lynn Strauss, 71, of Port Huron Township, died Wednesday, July 16, 2025.
She was born November 12, 1953 in Imlay City to the late John T. and Evelyn “Joan” Thomson. She married Robert E. Strauss on February 7, 1998 in Fort Gratiot. He preceded her in death on December 16, 2012.
Bambi was employed in the healthcare and hospitality industries, including owning and operating an AFC Home for 18 years, managing several restaurants, and serving as a sales manager at a hotel in Utah. Bambi enjoyed researching family genealogy and camping with the family. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in St. Clair.
She is survived by three daughters, Heidi (Edward) Gervais, Sarah (Jay) James and Cheryl (Kevin) Bolduc; grandchildren, Monica (Louis) Cortez, Chelsey (Keegan) Martus, Curtis (Ashley) Chavarria, Nathan (Shamyah) Chavarria, Justin Chavarria, Davonta Frierson, Sierra Frierson, Marissa Frierson, Jayla James, Shianne Bolduc, Jayden Bolduc and Savanna Bolduc; many great grandchildren; sister, Sally (Charlie) Sarka; brothers, John (Sarah) Thomson and Danny (Chris) Thomson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kaitlyn Smith.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 21, 2025 in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in St. Clair with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Elder Terry Griffin will officiate.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Memorial contributions may be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in St. Clair.
