Miriam L. Roth

Miriam Louise Roth, 85, of Port Huron, died on Sunday, July 20, 2025 after a long illness.

She was born September 24, 1939 in Port Huron to the late Christian J. and Sophia W. Roth.

Miriam enjoyed a long career with the State of Michigan Department of Health and Human Services before her retirement in 2010. She had a very generous spirit and loved getting to know people.

Miriam is survived by her sister-in-law, Karen Roth; brother-in-law, Nelson Armstrong II; nieces and nephews, Rebecca Roth, Sheryl (Jeffrey) Smith, Tad (Ahn) Armstrong, John (Tammy) Roth, Edward (Marcella) Sabatine and Michael Sabatine; dear friend, Harold (Lynn) Bezenah and family; and many great nieces, great nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Carol Sabatine, John “Jack” Roth and Judith “Judy” Armstrong; and nephew, Nelson Armstrong III.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 25, 2025 in St. John’s United Church of Christ with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Roxie Davis will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.
