Bertha J Dailey

Bertha Joyce Dailey, 78, of Port Huron, joined her heavenly family on Thursday, November 20, 2025.

She was born July 29, 1947 in Saginaw to the late Robert and Addie Harrison. Bertha was baptized when she was 14 years old into Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. She attended school in Chesaning and graduated from Flint area schools. Bertha loved jazz, crafting, knitting and spending time with her family.

In 1969, she met and married Billy F. Dailey and from that union they had one son, Billy F. Dailey Jr.

She leaves behind her beloved son, Billy (Joanna) Dailey Jr.; Billy’s father, Billy Dailey Sr.; five grandchildren, Michaela, Savontae (Elizabeth), Jaeanna, Dakari (Megan) and Cierra; eight great grandchildren, Clifton, Isreal, Khai, Lazaarus, Mathias, Nakia, Nasir and Cassius; brother, Edward (Ruth) Harrison; beloved sister-in-law, Geraldine; brother-in-law, Jesse Perry; many cherished nephews and nieces; and the James Simmons family who held a special place in her heart. She was preceded in death by three brothers; and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Monday, November 24, 2025 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Dr. Carl E. Miller Sr. will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
