Linda Kay Twiss

August 4th, 1947 to November 21st, 2025

Mrs. Linda Kay Twiss (Moore), 78, of Clyde Township, passed away unexpectedly on Friday evening, November 21, 2025.

She was born August 4, 1947 in Port Huron, the daughter of the late William and Dorothy Smith. She married David Twiss in 1995 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

Linda graduated from Marysville High School in 1965 and attended SC4, Pontiac Business Institute and Baker College. She was employed by Prestolite Wire, the City of Port Huron, Michigan Bell, and Port Huron Hospital where she retired in 2009.

Linda enjoyed camping, reading and spending time with family. She approached life with dignity, purpose and resilience, always striving to be her best self. She found her greatest joy and sense of accomplishment in her family, a passion that reflected her nurturing approach to all relationships. Linda devoted her life to her husband, children and granddaughter, loved them intensely and would give everything she had for their happiness. She was the constant in many lives, the one that could be depended on for support and unconditional love. Her passing will leave holes in many of our hearts.

She will be forever remembered by her husband David; three children, David Evans, Robert (Tracey) Evans and Cynthia Evans (James); granddaughter, Morgan Pratt (Jacob); sisters-in-law, Frances (John) Voreis, Diana (Bill) Carrier, Patricia Moore; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Moore.

A memorial service with family will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 28, 2025 at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery Chapel, Fort Gratiot Township.
