Ruby M Delmore

Ruby May Delmore, 94, of Port Huron, peacefully entered eternal rest on Monday, January 12, 2026.

Born on August 9, 1931, in Jamaica to Frank and Myrtle Jones, Ruby lived a life filled with grace, love, and unwavering kindness. She spent many years working in the hospitality industry and later retired with the Port Huron Times Herald, where her warmth and dedication touched countless lives. Ruby’s presence was a gift. She was joyful, nurturing, and full of light - a woman who found happiness in music, dancing, cooking, and caring for others. Always elegant, fashionable and impeccably well kept. She took pride in how she presented herself, carrying dignity and self-respect into every room she entered. Her gentle spirit, strong values, and generous heart left a lasting impression on all who were blessed to know her. Above all, Ruby loved her family deeply. She was a source of comfort, wisdom, and unconditional love, and her legacy will continue through the many lives she shaped with her compassion.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Elvis Dillon, Barbara Dillon Webley, Cruchley Dillon, and Alwin Dillon (Anita Thomas); her stepchildren, Runnie, Lorna, Devon, and Sylvin; her grandchildren, Andre Webley, Julia Sagliano, Brittney Webley, Shankwa Dillon Campbell, Vaughnzel Thomas, Andrew Morris, Orette Morris and Richardo Dillon; her step-grandchildren; her cherished great-grandchildren, Andre Webley Jr., Sophia Webley, Legend Bolivar, Kingdom and Kameron’Crown Ebanks; her siblings, Norris Jones, Elsie Thompson, Sybil Lewis, and Shirley Jones; and many nieces and nephews who will forever hold her in their hearts. Though she is no longer with us, Ruby’s love, laughter, and beautiful spirit will live on always.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, January 31, 2026 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Dr. Carl E. Miller Sr. and the Reverend David Nichols will officiate.
