Brian C Spencer

Brian Clarence Spencer, 70, of Marysville, died unexpectedly, Sunday, January 25, 2026.

He was born July 23, 1955, in St. Clair to the late Clarence “Sonny” and Joyce Spencer.

Brian was employed as a teacher with the Imlay City School District for 35 years until his retirement. He was involved with sports his entire life. He played high school sports for the Marysville Vikings, was an avid golfer and was inducted into the Port Huron Sports Hall of fame for pitching with the Secory Mobile Flyers softball team. Brian was also a devoted grandpa to his three grandchildren.

He is survived by three children. Devon (Niall) Casserly, Erin (Paul) Harrison and Trevor Spencer; three grandchildren, Oliver, Jude and Henry Clarence Harrison; two siblings, Bonnie (Ernest) Buckland and Dwight (Kim) Spencer; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday, February 1, 2026 in the Marysville Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 2, 2026 in the Marysville Funeral Home. The Reverend Rich Reinhart will officiate.

Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville. Pallbearers will be Trevor and Dwight Spencer, Paul Harrison, Niall Casserly, Rick Kern and Gary Schlinkert.
