Patricia A Horn

Patricia Ann Horn, 80, of Port Huron went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 28, 2026.

She was born November 8, 1945 in Bay City.

Patricia was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose kindness and gentle spirit touched all who knew her. She lived a life rooted in faith, love, and devotion to her family. Her warmth, compassion, and unwavering strength will be remembered by those blessed to share in her life.

Patricia dedicated 32 years of service as a paraprofessional with the Port Huron Area School District before her retirement. She treasured time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren especially family dinners, neighborhood walks, yoga, and playing Einie Einie Over. She enjoyed traveling, spending winters in Texas, and creating lasting memories up north with her family.

She is survived by her children, Michael Heimbach Jr. (Suze Gignac), Amy Johnston (Tony Reynolds), and Leah Russo; grandchildren, Dylan Johnston, Kacie Johnston (Frank Smith), Noah Raab, Parker Gignac, Liam Russo, and Brody Russo; great grandchildren, Rayelin Smith and Frankie Smith; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and her church family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Heimbach; her mother Alma Post, and 11 siblings.

She is lovingly remembered by her family and friends who will cherish her memory and carry her love forward in their hearts.

A memorial event to honor Patricia’s life will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to Community Christian Church or the Council on Aging.
