Sean C Stoehr

Sean Charles Stoehr, 60, of Port Huron, died Friday, April 10, 2026.

He was born May 12, 1965 in Walled Lake to John and the late Alice “Penny” Stoehr. He married Jill Blaser on September 25, 1999 in Farmington Hills.

Sean served in the U.S. Army for 11 years, including tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. He received his degree in law enforcement from Texas A & M University and worked as a police officer in Round Rock, Texas. After returning to Port Huron, he worked as an auto mechanic. He loved working on muscle cars, especially trucks and Camaros. He enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Jill; three children, Sean Stoehr Jr., Jenice Deskin and Kerry (Brandon) Dooley; two grandchildren that he and Jill adopted, Kera Stoehr and Angelina Stoehr; three other grandchildren, Hailey Doe, Gabe Doe-Blaser and River Dooley; two great grandchildren, Mariah and Oaklynn Smith; his father, John Stoehr; and three siblings, Kim, Kathy and Kevin Stoehr. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Blaser; and a brother, Scott Stoehr.

Services with military honors will be announced.
