Sylvia A Page

Sylvia Ann Page, 91, of Fort Gratiot, formerly of Deerfield Beach, Florida, died Tuesday, April 14, 2026.

She was born February 1, 1935 in Algonac, Michigan to the late Elijah and Dorthea Smith. She married Patrick H. Page on May 25, 1957 in Our Saviour Lutheran Church, Detroit. He preceded her in death in 1976.

Sylvia attended school in Algonac through 10th grade, moved to Detroit for her junior year of high school, but then returned to graduate from Algonac High School. She worked for Sears from 1983 - 2017, managing the paint department of the Boca Raton and Fort Gratiot stores. In her free time, Sylvia enjoyed needle crafting.

She is survived by her nephews, Steven (Connie) Smith, William (Mary) Sabin, Jim Sabin and Jeff (Pat) Smith; niece, Sherry (Jim) Hanson; nephew-in-law, Ron Bonitatibus; many great nieces and great nephews; and her feline companion, Casey. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son; and siblings, Elijah (Mary) Smith, Rosemary Mitchell, Jean (Eugene) Sabin and Dora (Dr. Kenneth) Crum; niece, JoAnn Bonitatibus; and niece-in-law, Barbara Sabin.

A graveside service will be held in Gethsemane Cemetery, Detroit.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
