Timothy Maddigan

Timothy J. Maddigan, 62, of Marysville, died Friday, April 17, 2026.

He was born on May 30, 1963 in Detroit to the late Earl J. and Phyllis A. Maddigan.

Tim, who could fix anything, worked in building maintenance for apartment complexes. He enjoyed time spent outdoors, especially camping, fishing, going for walks, and spending time at the water. A huge sports fan, Tim loved cheering on the Detroit Tigers, Lions and Pistons, as well as the University of Michigan. He cherished time spent with his grandkids, and could often be found cheering them on at football games and wrestling meets. Proud of his successful recovery journey, Tim appreciated the friends he made through AA.

He is survived by his daughter, Sarah Maddigan (Ryan Tavoularis); his grandchildren, Shane and Makhia Tavoularis; siblings, Mary (Roger) Trombley, Dianne (Randy) Donahue, Ann (Steve) Sonoga and Denise (Richard) Livernois; sister-in-law, Cyndie Maddigan; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved cat, Cheeto. In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Patrick.

Private family services have been held and Tim will be buried with his family at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Detroit.
