Beverly A. Bleicher

October 14, 1932 to May 22, 2026

Beverly Alice Bleicher, 93, of Marysville, died Friday, May 22, 2026.

She was born October 14, 1932 in Flint, Michigan to the late Charles R. and Alice B. Hampton. She met Charles Edward Bleicher at Flint Northern High School and they were married on July 12, 1952 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Flint. After 34 years of marriage, he preceded her in death on January 19, 1987.

Beverly graduated from Flint Northern High School in 1950 and then earned her bachelor’s degree and MLS from the University of Michigan. She was an administrative secretary at Hurley Medical Center and retired in 1992. After retirement, she moved to Boulder City, Nevada where she enjoyed the warmth, the view of Lake Mead, the mountains and big horn sheep.

Beverly was a den mother for Cub Scouts when her boys were small, could often be found tending her garden and enjoyed traveling all over the United States and Canada. Beverly was a runner into her 50s and completed the Flint Crim 10-mile race twice. She also loved cross-stitch, painting, crossword and jigsaw puzzles. She enjoyed reading, especially James Patterson novels. Beverly was a kind, generous, ambitious and funny lady who loved her family above all else.

She is survived by four children, Roxanne Maguffee, Sally Parcell, Frank (Patty) Bleicher and David (Darlene) Bleicher and family; four grandchildren, Mindy (George) Costello, Melissa (Blair) Rood, Matt Bleicher and Alex Maguffee; seven great grandchildren, Erin (Michael), Amanda, Madeline (Jesse), Jason, Cora, Emily and Hadley; two great great grandchildren, Marshall and Ashton; siblings, Janice (Arnold) Griffin and David (Ruby) Hampton; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other family.

In addition to her parents and husband, Beverly was preceded in death by her sons-in-law, Patrick Parcell and Bob Maguffee; brother, Palmer Reid (Beverly) Hampton; brother-in-law, William (Mildred) Bleicher; and nephew, Jason Hampton.

Beverly’s family would like to thank the caring staff at the Blue Water Hospice Home in Marysville.

Private family graveside services were held at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Flint.
