Marilind R "Lindie" Roff

Marilind R. “Lindie” Roff, 63, of Port Huron, stepped into Glory on Saturday, May 23, 2026.

She was born April 24, 1963 in Ann Arbor to Phillip and Karen Roff. Lindie graduated from Carsonville-Port Sanilac High School in 1981, attended St. Clair County Community College and went on to receive her bachelor’s degree in education from Eastern Michigan University and her master’s degree in career and technical education from Ferris State University. She proudly returned to her alma mater, SC4, and worked as a Professor of Business Administration until her retirement in 2019. During that time, she served as Department Chair for several years. Lindie loved to travel, could find the best treasures at garage sales, was a “rock hound” for Petoskey stones, and enjoyed ballroom dancing with her dance club in Flint. Her faith as a born-again Christian was the foundation of her life. She loved the Lord deeply, trusted Him faithfully, and lived each day guided by His grace.

She is survived by her parents, Phillip and Karen Roff; siblings, Connie Shagena, Camilla Roff, Bradley (Tina) Roff, Saundra (Donald) Brown and Douglas (Angela) Roff; nieces and nephews, Nicholas and David Shagena, Bradley (Autumn) Roff II, Alyson (Daniel) Woods, Rachael (Arik) Gibbs, Lucas Roff, Lauryn, Haley and Madison Roff, and Ethan, Kyle and Alexander Brown, who lovingly called her “Giggie” ; ten great nieces and nephews; many special cousins, including Vicky Marohn; and dear friends, Vicky (Bill) Maxwell and Harvey Prax. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Lloyd Shagena; and dear friend and colleague, Wendolyn Willison.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2026 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2026 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Reverend Dr. Thomas Seppo will officiate.

Burial will be in Burtchville Township Cemetery.
