Neil A Baldwin

Neil Arthur Baldwin, 74, of Marysville, died Thursday, June 4, 2026.

He was born November 1, 1951 in Port Huron to the late Thomas James and Blanche Mae Baldwin and grew up in Marysville. Neil was proud to be from the “Salt Block” and fancied himself and his friends as the real life, “Little Rascals”. He graduated from Marysville High School in 1969.

Neil spent his career working for several railroads, including Grand Trunk Western Railroad, from 1969 until his retirement in 2009. His passions were family, building and home repair, golf, hunting and bowling (he even bowled a perfect 300 game!).

Neil is survived by his wife, Cindy; daughter, Kellie (Ardie) Myers; son, Steven (Amy) Baldwin; four grandchildren, Neil, Nolan, Quincy and Ireland; a sister, Charlene Bowen; sisters-in-law, Donna Baldwin, Joyce Baldwin and Jane Johnston; brother-in-law, John Johnston; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Dick, Don (Vi) and Larry Baldwin; sister, Lois (Bob) Miller; brothers-in-law, Chuck Johnston and Jerry Bowen; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Alvina and Charles Johnston.

A service to honor Neil’s life is being planned and will be announced.

Memorials may be made to the Blue Water Area Humane Society, Blue Water Home Care and Hospice, or the D.A.V. Chapter #12.
