Vivian MacDonald
Vivian MacDonald, 90, of Port Huron, died Tuesday, June 12, 2012.
She was born June 2, 1922 in Deckerville to the late John and Gladys Munroe. She married Frank "Fred" MacDonald on May 29, 1948. He died November 14, 1978.
Mrs. MacDonald graduated from Port Huron High School is 1942. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Sarah Circle. She was a lifetime member of VFW May O'Brien Post 8465 Auxiliary. She loved to travel, attended Red Hat Society events and enjoyed playing euchre at Palmer Park and the Council on Aging.
She is survived by five children, Lynne (Anthony) Kamendat, Diane (Virgil) Brown, Steven (Ricki) MacDonald, Dannie MacDonald and Jon MacDonald; seven grandchildren, Krystal (Russ) Pickering, Alex Dellin, David Kamendat, Anthony (Abbey) Kamendat Jr., Denise Schlimpf, Virgil Brown and Michelle MacDonald; nine great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Earl Munroe; a sister, Lois Kirkegaard; and a daughter-in-law, Nancy Guarnieri.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Friday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2012 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Reverend Jason Pitman will officiate.
Burial will be in Ruby Cemetery. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church.
