Scott D Perkins
Scott David Perkins, 70, of Port Huron, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 7, 2026.
Scott was born on December 3, 1955, in Port Huron, Michigan, to Gloria Sharp and the late David Perkins. On August 29, 1992, Scott married the love of his life, Cynthia Fenton, and together they shared 33 years of marriage and countless memories.
Scott proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, where he attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. His dedication to service continued throughout his life as a longtime member and two-time Past Exalted Ruler of B.P.O.E. Elks Lodge #343 in Port Huron.
Scott was a man who enjoyed life and treasured the people around him. He loved spending time with his family and friends, and he especially enjoyed golfing. In his younger years, Scott enjoyed playing hockey and racing speedboats-always embracing adventure and the excitement of the moment.
Scott will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Cynthia Perkins; his mother, Gloria King; two children, Michael S. Perkins and Nicole Perkins; his grandson, Michael D. Perkins; two sisters, Cindy (Craig) Richards and Deirdre (Dan) Blake; his brother, Jeff Perkins; his sister-in-law, Tamra King; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, David Perkins; stepfather, Art King; brother, Greg King; and infant great grandson, Raymond Perkins.
Scott leaves behind a lifetime of memories and the love of his family and friends. His presence will be deeply missed, but the memories he created and the lives he touched will remain forever.
A memorial event will be held at a later date at the Port Huron Elks Lodge #343. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the United States Marine Corps and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
