Nancy Aaron-Hanschu

Nancy Jo Aaron-Hanschu, 71, of Port Huron Township, died Sunday, August 16, 2026.

She was born March 26, 1955 in Topeka, Kansas to the late Lloyd and Alta Aaron. She married Charles Hanschu on July 14, 2007 in Canton Township.

Nancy was employed as a waitress at Powers Diner for many years. She enjoyed sewing, listening to music, watching action movies and reading.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Charles; seven children, Nikki Sweet, Lloyd (Tamara) Sweet, Clifford (Margaret) Sweet, Joseph Hanschu, Amelia Hanschu, Elijah Hanschu and A.J. Hanschu; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Lloyd (Lisa) Aaron; and two sisters, Lydia (Fred) Hutchinson and Shannon O’Dell; and sister-in-law, Lisa Aaron. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and Theodore Aaron; and brother-in-law, Bill O’Dell.
