Carolyn S Parasick

Carolyn Sue Parasick, 57, of Goodells, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2026.

She was born June 20, 1969 in Mt. Clemens to Janis and the late William Storey. She married Lawrence “Matt” Parasick on December 6, 1997 in Ruby.

Carolyn earned her bachelor’s degree from Baker College and went on to earn her master’s degree from Oakland University. She was employed as Vice President of Human Resources at Sacred Heart Rehabilitation Center. Carolyn had a lifelong appreciation for music and especially enjoyed playing the piano. A devoted Detroit sports fan, Carolyn could often be found cheering on her favorite teams. Above all, her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Matt; two sons, Andrew Storey (fiancée Dana VanOordt) and Matthew Parasick; four grandchildren, Juliet, Emma, Archer and Eleanora; mother, Janis Storey; two sisters, Cheryl Storey and Kristine (Tim) Matice; brother-in-law, Andy Parasick; two nieces, Michelle (Joe) Whitman and Madeline Howard (Will Minuth); and nephew, Mick Howard.

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, October 4, 2026 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Monday, October 5, 2026 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. The Reverend John Peck will officiate.
