Stuart H Coleman
Stuart Hall Coleman, 77, of Kimball Township, died Monday, July 9, 2012.
He was born June 25, 1935 in Croswell to the late Clifford and Garnett Coleman. He married Joyce A. Vincent on July 22, 1952 in Lexington.
Mr. Coleman was a machine operator with Prestolite Wire and later worked as a bridge tender. He served in the U.S. Navy. He was an avid hunter, a Tiger fan, and managed several local softball teams. He was a former member of the Masonic Lodge and Grotto.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce; seven children, Dorene (Ray) Sterling, Rhonda (Dave) Zimmerman, Greg Coleman, Scott Coleman, Kim (Todd) Warner, Mike Coleman and Mark (Renae) Coleman; 21 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; and brothers and sisters, Janet (Bill) Williams, Guy (Cathy) Coleman and Ruth (Jim) Galbraith. He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Burt, Hilda, Tina, Madeline, Jerald, Victor, Mary Lou, Raymond and Virginia.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2012 in Lexington United Methodist Church. The Reverend Timothy Ziegler will officiate.
Burial will be in Croswell Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hemophilia Foundation of Michigan. Arrangements are by Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
