William Storey

William M. Storey, 67, of Goodells, died Saturday, August 18, 2012.

He was born December 12, 1944 in Detroit to the late Earl and Josephine Storey. He married Janis S. Whitaker on January 21, 1967 in Warren.

Mr. Storey was employed with Ford Motor Company for 30 years prior to his retirement. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of First Baptist Church of Goodells. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, watching Detroit Tiger baseball, hunting, fishing and playing softball.

He is survived by his wife Janis; three daughters, Cheryl (Ronnie) Strain, Carolyn (Matt) Parasick and Kristine Howard; five grandchildren, Andrew Storey and fiancé, Megan, Michelle Dancey, Madeline Howard, Matthew Parasick and Mick Howard; four sisters, Evie Orsargos, Laverne (Ted) Grabski, Almeda (George) Snediker, and Sally Cricks; three brothers, Chet Storey, Mike Storey and Lester (Maree) Storey; many nieces and nephews; and good friends, Karl and Betty Klawon and Jim and Karen Lytle. He was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Monday in the Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 21, 2012 in First Baptist Church of Goodells with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Military honors will be conducted by the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Council.

Burial will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly.
